Emergency Access Easement. The emergency access easement between our subdivision and Neumann on Sanderling Ct is intended to be used for emergency access only. Please respect your neighbor's property and don't use it as a walkway or shortcut between subdivisions.

4/04/2014 The next open Board Meeting will be held on April 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the State Bank of the Lakes Meeting Room on the lower level Brook Room 2, 440 Lake Street in Antioch.
12/11/2013 There will be a special meeting held on December 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the State Bank of the Lakes Meeting Room on the lower level, 440 Lake Street in Antioch. The purpose of the meeting is to elect two officers to the Redwing View Board of Directors since we were unable to make quorum at the November 12, 2013 Annual Meeting and Election, and to adopt the 2014 Budget.
11/19/2013 2013 Annual Meeting/Election results:
No quorum was met at the Annual Meeting. This resulted in the following terms expiring:
Darren Barndt chose not to remain on the board.
11/19/2013 The board of directors has retained the services of Foot Stone Corp. to manage and maintain the buffer areas and the Oak Grove. Foot Stone will be periodically cutting down invasive weeds/trees over the next 5 years, and reseeding the buffer areas with native plants. The Vice-president of Foot Stone Corp is Rob Sulski, and he is spearheading the effort to revitalize the buffer areas and the oak grove. Rob is imminently qualified for this work, having served with the Illinois EPA for 30 years, and earning a Bachelor's Degree in zoology and a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering. He has also been involved in countless environmental restoration projects throughout the State of Illinois.

9/25/2013Dear Red Wing View Homeowners,
Foot Stone Incorporated has been hired by the Red Wing View Homeowners Association to restore and maintain the health of the buffer areas around the retention ponds and along Rt. 173. Our work includes removing invasive weeds, brush and small trees and promoting the growth of deep-rooted native plants and grasses. Prescribed burning will be performed this November as weather permits. Additional burning will occur March-April 2014 as necessary. The results of this work will be the reestablishment of a healthy native plant community that minimizes stormwater runoff and associated water pollution. Foot Stone thanks you for your confidence in and patience with us as we bring Red Wing View back to its full natural potential.

6/11/2013 Owners with homes bordering the Common Areas MUST NOT MOW into the Common Areas or they will be fined.

Owners MUST not use the Common Areas as places to dump hay bales, uprooted plantings etc., as they cause non-native seeds to drop in the Common Areas, thus destroying the native plantings so critical for a proper buffer area. Owners observed violating these rules will be fined for doing so.

Owners MUST NOT USE THE COMMON AREAS as places to dump their garbage, unwanted items etc., or they will face fines. The Common Areas in Redwing View are for the enjoyment of all of the Homeowners in the Association, and when the Board of Directors has to pay a vendor to clean these areas up because of homeowner negligence it costs EVERYBODY IN THE ASSOCIATION. Please respect the Common Areas, as they serve a vital purpose both for the aesthetics and the functionality of the retention ponds.
